I just wanted to let you know that I am still benefiting from the coaching sessions I had from you last year. You may remember that I was having a pretty difficult time coping with both work and my mother's failing health and I was struggling to get my own health issues under control. (Type 2 diabetes and weight control).I now feel amazingly in control again having accepted responsibility for my own destiny. I have changed jobs although I still work within the health service on a consultancy basis and have just embarked on a life coaching diploma with the Achievement Specialists.  (Interestingly there was another GP on the same course and I pointed her in the direction of your web site and books). The weight is coming off slowly but surely too!!As I am doing my coaching training I recognise some of the techniques you used with me and it reminds me just how much I have moved on since this time last year.

    What does a coach do?

    Challenge your assumptions about what is or isn’t possible and encourage and motivate you to take the action you want.

    Enables you to change your situation for the better, by listening, asking you questions, discussing the options, and offering  techniques such as NLP and hypnosis when appropriate.

    Upgrades your time management: so you can have better work life balance

    Coaching has three parts

    Before the call: think about what’s happening in  your life and what you want to discuss during the session.

    The session itself: you will be listened to, challenged, gain some insights and agree what you action to take.

    After the call:  you think about what was discussed  and notice how it impacts on your life; and take the actions you promised.

    How many coaching sessions?

    I offer you coaching on an 'as and when' basis. No long term contract. You only need to commit to a couple of sessions at a time.

    With the questions I ask and your willingness to be open to new perspectives, the resulting changes in your understanding of your situation is likely to mean you can make the changes you want, very quickly.

    However you may want to have a session or two from time to time, as a 'top-up session when you feel 'stuck' and want to gain some clarity about something and make a decision, to keep your  motivation high and make the changes you want to improve your life.
